With the announcement of the Common Eligibility Test which is to be conducted by the National Recruitment Agency, aspirants of government job exams are desperately looking for updates on that matter and are waiting for the official website of the CET, but there's a catch. The NRA CET official website is still absent from the internet and fraudsters are using this opportunity very well.

What is NRA CET?

 Currently, the exams of Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), and railway recruitment which is conducted by the RRB and RRC's are all conducted by their respective departments separately but after the introduction of the Common Eligibility Test (CET) which is to be conducted by a new agency called National Recruitment Agency, the prelims level exams (or tier 1) of the previously mentioned exams will be replaced by the CET. This will be of big benefit for many aspirants who do not want to pay the exam fee multiple times and appear for exams of various agencies in a single year.

Many aspirants are keen to know about the official website of the NRA CET so that they can start getting useful resources, but such a website does not currently exist. 

Currently, there is no official website of the CET yet! The NRA will be a government body and hence and of its official websites will likely have the subdomain of .nic.in attached to the URL. Interestingly, many of the fake website makers are also aware of this fact and have attached this in their main domain, rather than the subdomain.

Therefore, candidates need to be extra cautious when they visit these websites. They may use the new candidates for dubious purposes. Many big ed-tech companies have already started selling full courses and test series for CET. It is absurd, considering the fact that no syllabus or exam pattern of the NRA CET exam is available online or offline. The only update we do get is from Minister Jitendra Singh who keeps giving new tentative dates for the grand exam but rarely provides any additional details.

5. We also strongly advise the candidates not to purchase any courses or test series of CET before any official notice regarding NRA CET exam pattern or NRA CET syllabus comes out.

 

When will NRA CET happen?

The final question in the mind of aspirants is regarding the NRA CET exam date. As per minister Jitendra Singh's statement at an event, the exam is likely to happen in early 2022. However, we must take this with a grain of salt since it is not an official statement.
